For now, that's it! Freestyle is built entirely around great decaf coffee. We source coffees that stand on their own, without treating decaf like an afterthought.

We source single-origin coffees from around the world. Origins change throughout the year based on availability, seasonality, and what we’re excited to roast.

That’s part of the fun. We buy coffee in small quantities and rotate through different origins as they become available. When one coffee is gone, something new is usually right behind it.

Very. We roast in super small batches so coffee doesn’t spend months sitting around waiting to ship. Small batches also let us adjust each roast to bring out the best in each coffee.

Not currently. Right now, all Freestyle coffee is sold as whole bean so it stays as fresh as possible until you’re ready to brew it.

Yes. You can subscribe and have fresh coffee delivered regularly without having to remember to reorder. Because our coffees rotate, your subscription may also give you a chance to try new origins throughout the year.

Generally this will be true, but rare occasions mean our stock may run short on the last roast. Since some coffees are only available for a limited time, if one sells out, we may rotate your subscription into another coffee or give you options depending on availability. We'll always try reaching out beforehand if possible.

We roast coffees across a range of profiles, from lighter and brighter coffees to darker, richer options that work especially well for espresso. Each product page will tell you what to expect.

The process depends on the coffee. We source coffees using high-quality decaffeination methods such as Swiss Water Process and Mountain Water Process. We’ll always list the process on the coffee’s product page.

No coffee is truly 100% caffeine-free. Decaf contains a small amount of naturally remaining caffeine, but dramatically less than regular coffee (Somewhere in the range of 97-99% caffeine free).

It may be gone for good. Many of our coffees are limited releases, so once we work through a lot, we move on to whatever is next. If you find one you love, don’t assume it’ll be around forever.

However you normally like to make coffee. Our coffees work well across common brewing methods, and individual product pages may include recommendations based on the roast and origin.
